Redefining
secret shopping

& raising the bar in Canada.

International Vision

In a country known for oligopolies, government subsidies & shrinkflation. We benchmark nationally & internationally to hold Canadian companies to a higher standard.

Unlike other mystery shoppers, we actively evaluate as many companies as possible. This creates a knowledge base of best practices across industries.

We do not tolerate Canadian mediocrity. The self-righteous view that Canada is inherently a nice place is self-defeating. Those of us who have travelled know the rest of the world gets better goods & services than we do, often at lower cost.
Our mission is to improve Canadian businesses to a world standard.

Secret Shoppers Canada

We look at a combination of quantitative data & qualitative factors. We use technology & long term customer interactions to gather data on industries. Layered on these metrics is the qualitative feel of dealing with products & companies. While this is not easily quantified, it is just as important. And in our age of data, it is often overlooked.

Evaluations vary by industry; but creativity, service standards, value for cost, design, consistency, technical development & qualitative feeling are always factored.

We judge & benchmark as many companies as possible. All possible competitors, in & out of the industry. Chances are, your company has already been evaluated by us. You just don’t know it yet. We give candid facts. Even if it’s offensive or politically incorrect.

Staff & Purpose

Our purpose is to improve products & companies. Not to get employees fired. We understand & cover for the fact that all workers have bad days.

Every consultant who conducts evaluations for us has worked in front line positions. And are ‘natural’ customers of the products. Meaning they’re parents for children’s products, they’ve travelled a lot for hotels, etc.

We do not hire people who think this is “getting paid to shop” or even paid to critique.

Avoid scams in this industry. Always double check our email is “@secretshoppers.ca”. Do not respond or engage with other emails or websites with similar spellings. Never send money to a mystery shopping or secret shopping company. We only hire people we know or recommended by people we know.
